The WFB System
The WELL FOR BALANCE system is an innovative solution for proprioceptive rehabilitation.
It was developed to optimize and streamline the working methods of physiotherapists and trainers, and, above all, to facilitate the execution of protocols by patients and athletes.
Features such as wireless (Bluetooth) connectivity, a lightweight carbon-fiber design, long battery life (100 hours), and a compact form factor make WELL FOR BALANCE ideal for portable use in any setting or location.
The WELL FOR BALANCE system utilizes state-of-the-art inertial technology; it requires no calibration and can operate on any surface or incline.
WELL FOR BALANCE consists of:
- A postural sensor for monitoring torso movement across the three planes of motion.
- A 17” or 22” single-axis unstable platform with interchangeable feet (four rolling radii: XL, L, M, H) for performing protocols in single-leg stance, double-leg stance, and seated positions.
- A base platform with markings to indicate the correct placement of the unstable platform during protocol execution.
- Software (Windows OS) designed for intuitive interaction with both the practitioner and the patient/athlete; the latter can, after a short time, perform a significant portion of the sessions independently.
